CASE STUDIES - SIMPLE ELLIPTICAL EXCISION
CASE STUDY 1: BCC of Forehead

BCC of the left forehead near the eyebrow (before and after).
Simple excision was performed and the skin incision was made along the natural skin crease, and the wound meticulously repaired using Micro-Suture Technique. Although there is an intial eyebrow elevation immediately after the operation, after few weeks, the eyebrow does fall back into its natural position. Cosmetic outcome is satisfactory.
CASE STUDY 2: SCC of Scalp

A large Simple excision was performed and the skin incision was made along the plane that allows the most skin recruitment, and the wound meticulously repaired using Micro-Suture Technique. Although the skin is very tight after the opertion, after few weeks, the skin relaxes and the cosmetic outcome is satisfactory.
CASE STUDY 3: SCC of Ear

Simple excision was performed and the skin incision was made along the natural ear cartilage borders. The wound meticulously repaired using Micro-Suture Technique. Cosmetic outcome was satisfactory.
CASE STUDY 4: BCCof Neck

Simple excision was performed and the skin incision was made along the natural creases of the neck. The wound was meticulously repaired using Micro-Suture Technique. Scar is well hidden along the existing neck creases and the cosmetic outcome was satisfactory.
CASE STUDY 5: SCC of Neck

Simple excision was performed and the skin incision was made along the natural creases of the neck. There is a large surgical defect as noted above. Once the wound was meticulously repaired using Micro-Suture Technique and the scar is well hidden along the existing neck creases, the cosmetic outcome was satisfactory.
